Look! We are famous!

A couple days ago, we were assaulted with bright lights and forced to sit on a table. We sat very still, and later, we were rewarded with apples. To take our revenge against our oppressors, we escaped from our castle and ate a bunch of stuff on the floor.

According to the blonde sow, the bright flashes of light produce images inside a little black box. These images are called peegtures. You can see right up Gandalf's snout in a bunch of the peegtures. Hilarity ensues, kids. Hilarity ensues.

It would be really awesome if there were tiny people in the peegtures with us, so we could show how big we actually are.

We moved into a new flat a while ago. Pretty good, eh? It's got a nice big shelf to sit in and hide under, but sadly we knock down our water bottle all the freaking time.

I am missing a tooth. One of the top upper fangs. I feel so nekkid and helpless.

I'm doing alright, though. I'm eating a lot, drinking a lot and generally just hanging out. I'll be taking it easy for a little while. I hope I'll be back to my old goblin-taunting self soon, though.

It's a little weird losing an adult tooth, though. I guess my cage-chewing days are over. I hope that my counterpart figures out this nugget of arcane knowledge before he suffers a similar fate.

so it's been a while since we've updated. lots has been going on, but we can't tell you about any of it. we are secretive, yes. in any case, in addition to the excitingness of being a peeg, we've been eating a lot and sleeping a lot and drinking too loudly.

the blonde sow gets annoyed at us sometimes when we chew on the cage. we do that a lot when we are hungry. we are of the opinion that there should always be food in our bowl. however; if there were always food in our bowl, we would quickly lose our svelte, peeg figures. it's probably for the best. she does take good care of us.

anyway, we just wanted to check in with all of you and make a brief appearence in the land of ell jay.

we miss vassar. there, the people give us fresh food from the ground and sometimes an entire apple. in popular peeg opinion, we are simply not fed enough.

our food rations here in massachusetts:
7:00 breakfast of 1 baby carrot each
9:00 second breakfast of 1/4 cup guinea peeg pellets to share
11:00 elevensies of spinach leaves or other greens
13:00 afternoon snack of yoghurt drops
19:00 dinner of lettuce leaves or peeg treats
21:00 dessert of 1/4 cup guinea peeg pellets to share

there is a serious problem. just look at that long interval between 13:00 and 19:00 that we are not fed *a thing,* and that even longer interval between night and morning. something needs to be done. perhaps a strike will be necessary or incessant squeeking. yes, the squeeking always helps matters.

this has come to our attention.

we are concerned that we will never be able to attain these weights, as our ancestors weigh about 700 times as much as we. we're going to have to put off the time-travelling wrestling match unless other folks have any suggestions to remedy this inequality. some have suggested steroids or feeding us more.

mmm... the blonde sow just gave us comfy new bedding. it smells real nice and it's damn tasty!

we're definitely excited to return to the other place (except for the actual moving part. cars scare sauron). there is cushy grass there and lots of neat people to play with. we intend to eat lots of grass and maybe some apples too.

guinea pigs really have it made. hum0ns have to fret about everything- their jobs, their friends, their uhm... other stuff- while we get to sit around in a plushy, woodchipped palace to periodically get picked up and fed and petted by friendly hum0ns.

the blonde sow has updated her computer a bit. it has a tasty new keyboard and a tasty new operating system. i was interested to hear that the new system is called os 10.2 jaguar. does anybody know when they'll come out with an os guinea pig? it'll have to be os 10.4 i guess...

i had a brush with death today. i was in the blonde sow's quarters this evening, and i discovered something tasty.... quite tasty. it was under her desk and resembled a long vine. little did i know that this was not a tasty treat. when i had been gnawing on it for a few minutes, my incisors struck metal and i got frightened and ran. the blonde sow was very concerned, but she took good care of me. the dark lord was unharmed because he is much pickier than i.

i am a giant guinea pig today i ran around and ate some stuff i am so much huger than gandalf i win a prize because he is so small i had a baby carrot and lettuce and then i took a nap i miss all the boars and sows from the loud place but i'll forget about them soon because i don't remember anything ever sometimes here i run around and play with the rabbit he is large and i think he wants to eat me because i look delicious and large the boar-what-follows-around-the-black-pants-wearing-sow always wanted to roast me on a spit i totally understand the rabbit gets so mad at me when i chase him he runs up the stairs and into the blonde sow's room or that's what he says but i don't believe him i think that he goes into the kitchen or eats the plants on the stairs but i am short and can't climb them i got put on the landing yesterday and i froze i didn't like it but then the blonde sow's elder laughed she likes me and gandalf even though we make her sneeze all the time i wonder where the other elder unit is i am so hungry

we've had several excellent peeg days full of eating and napping.

a few suns back ago, we were placed onto the grass. there was a fair amount of lettuce and carrots there. we were pleased. we ate for a long, long while and then fought for dominance of the field.

if anyone is interested, one might notice that my counterpart overwhelmingly prefers fresh grass to lettuce, while i have a more cultured palate.

i got confused today because the black-pants-wearing sow put me and the other boar in a rectangular container. we got carted around for a while and then we thought it was safe but we were far from the ground. the boar-what-follows-around-the-black-pants-wearing-sow brought us back to the peeg house. i was pleased.

i'm gonna go drink some stuff.

this morning has been rather long. the blonde sow woke up before we squeeked at her and fed us. she was moving our city around again. we'll have to make a new map. i am sure of it.

gandalf and i fought for a while this morning. he was guarding the water bottle, and i was having none of this. epic battle ensued and i was the victor.

then i ate some stuff for a while. the blonde sow gave us an apple last night, so we've been nursing it for quite some time. the woodchips are also quite tasty.

she picked me up and i explored the flat region near the internet for a while. i discovered a mug of warm, brown, sweet liquid but she doesn't want me to have any. i want more. it tastes like those crunchy brown and white things i used to find on the floor when we lived in the other place at Vassar.

keyboards are also tasty. i'm checking my email and letting everyone know that i'm still awesome. it is now time for a well-deserved nap.

today is memorable because we started a livejournal and got an email account.

earlier, we ate some stuff. the shorter black-pants-wearing sow tried to feed us some goldfish crackers but we didn't like them. the other sow gave us some paper and some popcorn. we ate a little bit of that, but we don't like butter. it gives us tummy aches.

then we went for a romp on the floor. we hung out on the rug for a while and squeeked. then we hid under the black-pants-wearing sow's cloth receptacle for a while. we pooped under there. then we went near the closet. i went into the closet and they couldn't find me for a while. i thought i was home free, but then i came out of the closet. the other sow caught my friend sauron. he's still in the peeg house.

i'm gonna go drink some stuff and then maybe take a nap.
